Non-Profit Founder & SCP Social Lead

Three years ago I joined SCP because I wanted a safe social outlet for me and my dogs during Covid; I had no idea back then that it would grow into a non-profit let alone that I would be the one leading it. This group is special to me; a community with so much potential and heart for Corgis (which are the coolest in my opinion). My 4 dogs (1 Corgi, 3 Corgi mixes) and I feel so lucky to call Sacramento our home. I am grateful to have stumbled upon the pack serendipitously so I could be part of its' incredible journey of growth.

I joined the Sacramento Corgi Pack team helping to build the community when it was founded in 2014. In 2015, I moved up to Co-Admin, continuing to grow the group with meetups and enhancing the experience with my contribution of Corgi event photography. I’ve owned 4 Corgi’s over the past 39 years, with our current pack consisting of Rosie (11) and Ranger (4). I look forward to many more years, helping the group grow in a positive direction. 

Wiggle Walk Leader

Gauge (our Corgi) came into our life during the lowest moment of our family's infertility journey. He saved my sanity and filled the void of our hearts. Unfortunately, when we finally did get pregnant, Gauge started resource guarding me from other dogs at the dog park and socializing him became challenging. When the Wiggle Walks began it was a wonderful option for us to be able to participate in the SCP events. We look forward to leading these walks for our group and are glad to have them as a great option for our sassy and silver whisker meanderers.

Corgs & Brews Leader

Hi, I'm Alyse and I have a 2 /12 year old Corgi named Barley. You can typically find him glued to my hip at meetups or chilling with other people since he is always looking for pets from humans. Barley and I are the hosts of the Corgs & Brews meet-ups that happen every other month for the pack. We love checking out breweries and being able to bring our beverage and Corgi loving members together for some social time outside the dog parks. We hope to see everyone at a meet-up sometime soon!

Instagram Admin

Hi my name is Heather and this is my 2 year old Corgi, Venti. While I take a mostly behind the scenes role by helping SCP with their Instragram, Venti likes to be front and center at meet-ups. His favorite activities include making mud puddles, getting all the dogs to chase him, and creating general chaos. I love being part of the SCP team because Venti loves the events and I enjoy making the promotions and seeing how they help bring people and corgis together. Say hi to me and Venti at a meet-up sometime and I apologize for the muddy paw prints on your clothes in advance!
