First 2 hours of parking are always FREE at the city-owned lot around the corner at 5th & Bridge Street, or in front of the BARN where designated. (IMPORTANT) You must register your car at the nearby kiosk or thru the Parkmobile app to receive 2 hours of free parking. Additional time requires payment.

Who can attend Capitol Corgi Ball?

All well behaved humans and dogs are welcome to attend! We welcome Corgis and honorary Corgis alike. You can even attend if you don't have dog or don't want to bring your dog!

What is the price of admission to the event?

Capitol Corgi Ball is FREE to attend! You can enter the venue, hang out and watch the activities free of charge. If you would like to participate in any of the activities as a contestant there is a minor $6.00 entrance fee per dog per activity.

How will I know where to go or what activities are taking place?

Click on the Event Schedule & Map button at the top of this page! This schedule/map will also be available at the Capitol Corgi Ball booth if you would like to pick up a copy the day of the event from our Guest Services table.

Is this an on or off leash event?

While on Drake's: The Barn premises all dogs are expected to be ON LEASH. If your dog needs a chance to run and play, please visit the dog park directly located next to the venue to give them a chance to stretch their legs and get their wiggles out!

What type of payment methods will be accepted at the event?

Some vendors may be prepared to take card, but to get the full experience and not miss out on anything, we advise that you bring cash and/or have something like Venmo available to make purchases. The Capitol Corgi Ball booth with only be accepting cash and Venmo.

Can I still hang out at the venue once the event is over?

YES! Drake's: The Barn will remain open to the public even after 3:00 PM, so feel free to stay and buy drinks and food while you hang out and enjoy their incredible venue!

Will day of activity entries be accepted?

All activities can be registered for the day of the event, but we encourage you to sign-up in advance. Even if you don't sign up, come watch and vote for your Spring King and Queen Corgis!

Can I win raffle items if I leave early?

No, you must be present to win. Sorry! The raffle winners will be announced at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. Proceeds benefit the Queen's Best Stumpy Dog Rescue.
